Summary:
MAGNETISK BOND is a short documentary about the video archive by Sævar Halldórsson og Pauli Poulsen, built over the past 40 years in Vágur and on Suðuroy. Hundreds of tapes have been carefully recorded and collected, most of them preserved but never seen. We follow Sævar and Pauli on a treasure hunt through their ‘hidden’ archive. Through their eyes and camera, we discover everyday life, Faroese culture, memories and traditions and the enduring friendship between two men whose shared love of moving images that has become a living record of their community.

Summary:
THE SEA IS THE WALLS OF MY HOME is a short documentary is about people’s personal relation to and our understanding of the ocean from and islanders point of view. We follow Jann, who’s is one of the last remaining eider duck keepers on the remote Arctic island of Sandøy in Træna (33 nautical miles from the mainland). Anchored in coastal heritage, Jann has unique island skills that embody the rich tangible and intangible culture of Northern Norway. When teenage Træna islander Adam and Jann meet on Sandøy, they form an intergenerational bond as they visit the breeding eider ducks tending their nesting homes.
