Gantriis-Zimmermann guitar duo

The Gantriis-Zimmermann Guitar Duo takes you on a captivating journey in a diverse world of sound with an instrument that, while it has always captivated and inspired so many, is presented here in ways that few have heard.

At Summartónar, the duo is very excited to be able to present, among others, Faroese music by Kari Bæk, Kristian Blak, Eli Tausen á Lava and Teitur. Volkmar Zimmermann and Kristian Gantriis are both internationally renowned guitarists with an extensive concert careers behind them.

They have given concerts and masterclasses at home and abroad and released a number of critically acclaimed CDs.
