Sightseeing to the Amazing Bird Cliffs on The West Coast of Suduroy

Visit the amazing west coast of the island Suðuroy, which is the southermost of the Faroe Islands. There are high vertical cliffs and rich birdlife. You will probably see some seals too.

There are two boats which offer a boat trip along the west coast of Suðuroy: Tornado and Scorpion.

The boat Tornado, which is owned by a company named RIB62 is manned by men from the village Hvalba, starts from Fiskieiði (Hvalbiareiði) west of the village Hvalba. The trip takes around one hour, and you will experience to sail into a cave or maybe more than one. Floatationsuits and inflatable lifejackets are mandatory for all passengers, and will be distributed before entering the boat. Safety goggles, warm gloves and caps are also available and recommendedIf you are in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroes, you can take the ferry Smyril, which sails to Suduroy 2-3 times a day.
