Tinganest & Herborg Torkilsdóttir

A night with oldies but goldies and new fun hits.

Tinganest is a well established band in the Faroes. Formed in the 70’s, and still performing, after 50 yrs. Some of their hits include;  “Upp á tá”, “Vágagellan” og “Havnargøtur”.

Current band members: Jóan Jakku Guttesen, bass & voc, Magnus á Stongum, acc. guitar & voc, Finnur J Jacobsen, drums & voc, and Holgar Jacobsen, el-guitar & voc.

Herborg Torkilsdóttur released her 1st song in 2019 and has since then produced a variety of songs such as  “Eg uttan teg”, “Tù spælir viđ meg” og “Náttin var okay”.

Joining Herborg is a well played band, where 4 out of 5 members are women.
