DESCRIPTION:Julia (flute)\, Patricia Martín (clarinet) \n  \nAura Duo is a chamber music group based in Aarhus (Denmark)\, featuring musicians\, Júlia Cavaller Triay and Patricia Martín. \nThe group began in 2018 due to their mutual interest in the purest musical expression within the chamber music world: the duet. \nJúlia and Patricia are currently pursuing the Advanced Postgraduate Soloist Diploma at Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium in Aarhus (Denmark)\, and having already played several concerts together in larger ensembles\, they conceived the idea to launch Aura Duo. \n  \nThe concert they are presenting at Summartónar is just the culmination of their maturity\, stylistic prowess\, and ambition that they have acquired over their professional musical careers. The program contains pieces from Baroque Style to Contemporary Music\, going through different musical forms\, sonorities and harmonies\, giving a deeper meaning to the chamber concert experience.

DESCRIPTION:Lisberg looks to resurrect rock ‘n’ roll spirit of Elvis \n  \nJohn Lennon once famously said: ”before Elvis\, there was nothing”. \nThat was then. \nAnno 2019 – more than 40 years after his death – Elvis Presley\, The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll\, is still a major influence in modern music and he’s still very much in the hearts of the childen of the world – including the Faroese ones. \nOn May 25 Faroese Elvis fans will be treated to a night of nostalgia when Jens Lisberg and his band as well as his daughter Kristel Lisberg\, who participated at the 2016 Danish Eurovision Song Contest\,  take to the stage in ”Salt” to perform Elvis-songs and pay tribute to the late rock ‘n’ roll pioneer. \nThis will be the third and latest Elvis-nostalgia concert in the Faroe Islands this winter following highly acclaimed and sold out concerts in “Norðurlandahúsið” in Tórshavn\,  Fuglafjørður (Mentanarhúsið) and Tórshavn (Reinsaríið). \nJens Lisberg\, who is a well known singer in the Faroe Islands\, states to Local.fo that Elvis Presley has always been been a great source of inspiration for his music and that he has always dreamt of hosting an Elvis-nostalgia concert. \n– Our wish is that this concert will be a good opportunity to remember the music culture that Elvis left behind.
