DESCRIPTION:HVØR Á KROPPIN Á ØÐRUM are two events that celebrate the artform of dance. The event at SALT in Tvøroyri the 26th of July 2022 has a curated program of performances and film screenings. \n  \nDancers from RIVA The Faroese Dance Company will be performing a trio and a solo created during their latest residency where they interpreted Faroese and Swedish folklore. The two dance films Urð and Eir\, which were a collaboration between RIVA and Rammatik\,  will be screened. DESCRIPTION:Julia (flute)\, Patricia Martín (clarinet) \n  \nAura Duo is a chamber music group based in Aarhus (Denmark)\, featuring musicians\, Júlia Cavaller Triay and Patricia Martín. \nThe group began in 2018 due to their mutual interest in the purest musical expression within the chamber music world: the duet. \nJúlia and Patricia are currently pursuing the Advanced Postgraduate Soloist Diploma at Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium in Aarhus (Denmark)\, and having already played several concerts together in larger ensembles\, they conceived the idea to launch Aura Duo. \n  \nThe concert they are presenting at Summartónar is just the culmination of their maturity\, stylistic prowess\, and ambition that they have acquired over their professional musical careers. The program contains pieces from Baroque Style to Contemporary Music\, going through different musical forms\, sonorities and harmonies\, giving a deeper meaning to the chamber concert experience.

Jósef graduated from his music studies at the University of Stavanger this summer and is currently working as a freelancer and piano teacher in Norway. DESCRIPTION:  \nWe will be having two visitors from  London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) in the Faroe Islands\, and they are playing in SALT \nThe musicians are: \nChris Richards\, solo clarinette player in LSO and professor at the Royal Academy of Music. \nJoost Bosdijk\, who also performs daily at LSO\, and is likewise a professor at the Royal College of Music. \nJóhannes Andreasen\, pianist. \nThey will perform works by the Russian composer Mikhail Glinka (1804-1857) and by Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) plus the piece\,Askur og Embla by Faroese composer Kári Bæk. \nThis is a clarinette\, fagott\, piano trio which has been nominated a music award at Norðurlanaráðsins a few years ago.
