DESCRIPTION:Children 0-12 free entry \nThe Danish Vocal Ensemble Dopplers is composed of 7 vocalists – one of them being Faroese Tóra Vestergaard.\nThe group sings a broad repertoire within multiple genres such as folk\, pop\, world and classical music\, and they eagerly experiment with combining these genres. \nDopplers´ goal is to innovate the traditional concert having a specific focus on communicative performance through introductions\, choreographies and audience participation. The group composes and arranges a great amount of their repertoire though they also incorporate known pieces and compositions. \nIn October 2021 Dopplers released their new CD called NORD with original music and new arrangements of Nordic folk music. The lyrics are in the Nordic languages: Faroese\, Danish\, Swedish and Norwegian. The concert will be a live-performance of NORD. \nThe Faroese multi-artist Heiðrikur á Heygum created and designed the artwork on NORD. Eivør was supposed tohave her big European tour\, but due to covid-19\, this was cancelled\, all but her concerts at the Nordic house (Tórshavn).\nAfter the Nordic house concert a critic wrote these words ~ “Eivør’s concert is more than just beautiful singing and music performed by Faroe islands’ finest mucisians. Eivør is so much more than this. It’s the colours\, beautiful lighting\, perfect sound and Eivør’s friendly aura that makes a complete experience”. \nJoining Eivør are:\nMikael Blak\, Per Ingvald Højgaard Petersen and Mattias Kapnas. \nEivør will be performing songs off of her newest album and older songs aswell. \nThe doors open at 8pm and the concert starts at 9pm. \nTicket sales are limited.

DESCRIPTION:“Sjógvur – roads of the sea”: \nTura Ya Moya (DK/DE) \nMusic and projection-art meets SALT in a multimedia concert dedicated to the sea. \n  \nTura Ya Moya has since 1989 specialized in site-specific multimedia concerts\nin Scandinavia\, Europe and Greenland. DESCRIPTION:Julia (flute)\, Patricia Martín (clarinet) \n  \nAura Duo is a chamber music group based in Aarhus (Denmark)\, featuring musicians\, Júlia Cavaller Triay and Patricia Martín. \nThe group began in 2018 due to their mutual interest in the purest musical expression within the chamber music world: the duet. \nJúlia and Patricia are currently pursuing the Advanced Postgraduate Soloist Diploma at Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium in Aarhus (Denmark)\, and having already played several concerts together in larger ensembles\, they conceived the idea to launch Aura Duo. \n  \nThe concert they are presenting at Summartónar is just the culmination of their maturity\, stylistic prowess\, and ambition that they have acquired over their professional musical careers. The program contains pieces from Baroque Style to Contemporary Music\, going through different musical forms\, sonorities and harmonies\, giving a deeper meaning to the chamber concert experience.
