Music and projection-art meets SALT in a multimedia concert dedicated to the sea.

 

Tura Ya Moya has since 1989 specialized in site-specific multimedia concerts
in Scandinavia, Europe and Greenland. Now they can be experienced SALT where the group’s travelling 20-foot Art container is located summer 2019.
Tura Ya Moyas music is inspired by ethnical roots, experimental, new music, jazz and trance…their lyrics is mirroring life, politics and history.

The music is accompanied by rough graphical black and white images projected onto the given surroundings.

The concert “Sjógvur – roads of the see” will premiere the first part of Tura Ya Moya s “SEA MULTIMEDIA SYMPHONY” that reflect on the sea roads and the impact they has on the life in Scandinavia before and now, also relating to the story of the SALT silo in Sydoroy.

For this ocean-themed concert TYM invited the guest soloist Jeanette Balland to join inn.
As classical saxophone player dedicated to contemporary music, Jeanette captivates and convinces her listeners and shows the way to music’s most rare and fascinating regions.

to create the visuals Navarana Kàvigak (GRL) and other Nordic Artists from Norway and Finnland was invited to take part.

“Sjógvur – roads of the see” will perform new compositions by: Kristian Blak, Udo Erdenreich and Karen Thastum, as well as a expressive compositions by Sunleif Rasmussen – Be/leave/close  and  GUSH by Hans Abrahamsen.

Welcome to an exceptional journey on the roads of the sea with (contemporary) music and projection Art.
